Price: 750,00 PLN

Porcelain bridge allows on reconstruction of the removed tooth through performing constructions of connected with each other porcelain crowns. Crowns and bridges can be made from different materials and in different way.

Permanent bridge is also described as permanent partial prothesis. The bridge is permanently connected with natural teeth or with teeth radices, which receives and transmit effective forces. The bridge does not occupy more space than lost natural teeth.

There are four elements in permanent bridges:

  • Base, which should receive effective forces;

  • Pillar of the bridge transmits through paradontium to the base all effective forces;

  • Span of the bridge occurs in places of missing teeth, reproduces it functions;

  • Porcelain crown which connects span with pillar and transmits effective forces to the patient’s own teeth. Simultaneously it carries protective and esthetic functions.

Here is an example:

Patient’s teeth after removing old fillings and grinding (in this case teeth are vital, patient had anesthesia).

After making an impression a porcelain crown is prepared.

And here is how it looked after cementing the crown.
