Implant - Implantation after a tooth extraction

Implantation during the same procedure as removing a tooth allows to prevent bone resorption in the place of an extracted tooth. This is very beneficial for a patient because the loss of bone tissue after tooth extraction can be so big that the implantation is not possible. The procedure is not acceptable if the socket is involved in purulent process or extensive inflammatory process. In practice this procedure is generally limited just to single-rooted teeth.
